An integrated approach to build a equitable and empowered society
OUR VISION
We foresee a democratic and inclusive society where people live in mutual harmony beyond the barriers of gender, caste, creed, colour, and religion, and have equal access to rights, opportunities, and development.
OUR MISSION
To empower downtrodden and underprivileged communities by providing them with resources, opportunities, knowledge, and skills that enable them to improve their livelihoods and participate equally in mainstream society.
We work for promoting millet cultivation and improving nutrition among rural and tribal communities in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. We create awareness about the health benefits of millets such as ragi, korra, and sama. We also educate farmers and families about including millets in daily diets and government schemes like the Public Distribution System and Mid-Day Meal Scheme. Our efforts support better nutrition, sustainable farming, and improved livelihoods.
We work for supporting farmers in drought-prone areas of Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, where irregular rainfall affects agriculture. We conduct awareness camps to promote low-investment crops and the use of bio-fertilizers and eco-friendly pesticides. We also organize environmental awareness activities in villages to encourage sustainable practices. As part of the programme, we promote tree plantation and distribute saplings to villagers. This initiative helps protect the environment and supports farmers’ livelihoods.
We focus on spreading awareness about social issues such as dowry, AIDS, and child labour through cultural activities in rural communities. Programs like dramas, mono acts, group dances, and songs help educate and engage villagers effectively. This programme was organized in Medapuram, Chennakothapalli Mandal, Satya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh, benefiting 100 participants.
We worked on creating awareness about water conservation and sustainable water management in Gooty, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. The programme promoted rainwater harvesting, check dams, tank development, and farm ponds to improve water availability. We educated communities using audio-visual methods and encouraged public participation in protecting water resources. Community irrigation groups and water user groups actively took part in the programme. A total of 125 beneficiaries were covered under this initiative.
